Excessive perspiration

Excessive perspiration

Sweating is actually healthy. We eliminate any harmful substances and excess salt when sweating. And the two to four million sweat glands are working overtime, they produce up to two litres of fluid per day, and therefore also regulate our body temperature. However, excessive or abnormal sweating (hyperhidrosis) is a physical malfunction. Sweat marks under the sleeves and trickling streams on the body affect everyday life, turning even a handshake into an unpleasant action. What then can stop sweating?

Botox® to combat sweating

The most effective and safest method for combatting sweating is to inject with Botox® (Botulinumtoxin). The sweat glands are thereby disabled for several months. Thanks to an anaesthetic cream, the treatment is virtually free from pain and can be applied virtually everywhere around the body. It is therefore not only the armpits (axilla), but also the scalp, the breast creases and the back which become sweat-free zones following treatment.
