Dr Nicolás Suárez: Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine | Aesthetic Medicine
“For me, aesthetic medicine is not about changing a face, but about understanding its individual features, preserving them and enhancing them with precision and natural-looking results.”
Medical precision meets natural aesthetics
Dr Nicolás Suárez combines his experience as a specialist in Intensive Care Medicine with advanced training in Aesthetic Medicine. His approach is defined by precision, scientific thinking, safety and a commitment to natural-looking results.
He graduated in Medicine from the Central University of Venezuela and completed his specialist training in Intensive Care Medicine at Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid, one of Spain’s most prestigious and renowned hospitals. During his specialist training, he also completed advanced training in Neurocritical Care at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
He obtained a PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid, one of Spain’s leading universities, with a doctoral thesis on massive transfusion in severely injured trauma patients, awarded Sobresaliente Cum Laude. He subsequently completed a Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Medicine at the University of the Balearic Islands and has continued his training in advanced aesthetic techniques, regenerative treatments, biostimulation and laser-based technologies.
A comprehensive and individualised approach
His philosophy is based on a comprehensive assessment of anatomy, facial proportions, muscle dynamics, skin quality and each patient’s individual ageing process, rather than treating an isolated wrinkle or area.
His main areas of interest include regenerative and biostimulatory aesthetic medicine and the strategic use of hyaluronic acid, collagen biostimulators and neuromodulators, including their different aesthetic and dermatological applications.
Where appropriate, he combines injectable and regenerative treatments with laser technologies to address structure, support, movement and skin quality in a complementary way. At-home skincare is also an integral part of this approach, helping to enhance and maintain treatment results. His aim is to harmonise, define and rejuvenate while preserving each patient’s individual features and identity.
A special focus on male aesthetics
Aesthetic medicine for men and male facial harmonisation are among his particular areas of interest. His approach considers the specific anatomy, proportions and ageing patterns of the male face, developing treatment plans adapted to different ages and stages of life.
International medical experience
His medical career has taken him through Venezuela, Spain, Germany and Mexico, providing him with an international medical perspective and experience treating patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Today, based in Mallorca, he combines his work as a specialist in Intensive Care Medicine with his practice in Aesthetic Medicine.
